Power of Now

You know, the world we live in is full of terror, war, hate, crime and so on. You have a fixed view of the world, without considering an other possibility. What if I tell you, the world we live in, is a reflexion of our collective mind?
The mind can be wonderful and powerful, but can also be destructive and negative. Both are sides of the same coin. This means you can not have the one without the other. Duality is only a construct of the thinking mind. The mind always considers itself as "me" and wants to be seperated to anybody else. It's always seeking for competition, recognition, self-identification, and so on. Most of the human beings believe the mind is something that has to be valued. How often do you hear: "Wow, that's a big thinker!" or "You have to think more!". Everyone who lives in his mind, seeks a solution for their misery in their mind. But as I said the one can not be without the other. To overcome this pattern, and the illusion of duality, we have to go beyond the mind. How do we do that?
Well, it's easier as you "think". There are different ways to do that. All the ways I tell you will get you to the state of Oneness, the state of Being, the state of God. So, one way is to be fully present in the moment. Also known as the Now. Everything you think happens in the Now. Even the past and the future are thoughts, which happen Now. To be fully present means, to be fully aware of your thinking. Observe them instead of absorb them. Be the sillent watcher in the background. Disidentify from your mind. Another way is to focus on the silence. When silence is out of you, there is silence in you. Without silence there would be no sound, no noise. The silence is the fundament for the vibrations in the air.
I could go on, but I'm also prisoned in the thinking mind. There are a few human beings out there, who have reached this state of Oneness and the one, which gave me the insight is Eckhart Tolle. His book "The Power of the Now" changed my life. When you want to experience the Power of Now, read this book!
