We are in a state of consciousness in which doing gets less and less and being gets more and more. It's a shift happening right now and you are part of this. The only reason you read this is the universe showing you "Hey, you are waking up!".
There is nothing mysterious happening like a Big Bang or a bright light coming from the sky. It's just the subtle feeling of "Ahh". This feeling of letting go.
You just appreciate the present moment in all its fullness. The air smells fresher. The water looks clearer. The birds' singing is transcendental to your ears...but nothing has changed. It all stayed the same.
In fact compared to someone else who is being occupied by his mind doesn't even hear the birds or feel the air in his lungs. But why does it feel like a new world has opened up?
There is no accurate description, why you feel that way and that's good. You see, we've been stuck on the intellectual level for a long time. When there is a problem we always try to think it through. When you have to decide you make a pro and contra list.
This behaviour of analysing everything has it's place and no doubt, it really is helpful, but only when you are dealing with situations on the material plane.
The spiritual plane is for the logical mind like the nose is for our eyes. It's there but we rather blend it out, because it's just in the way. The intellect can't appreciate the spiritual plane. It's useless for the mind.
So when the logical mind can't handle this dimension, what does?
Well, it's hard to answer that question without using the mind. I still write words which are created in our mind. Words are just tools for the mind to express itself. Therefore we can't find the answer with words. We have to experience the answer.
One way to that is to let yourself be filled with life around you. Feel the nature around you. Listen closely to what nature tells you. Listen to the birds singing. Fall in love with it. Loose yourself in the ongoing stream of the river. Take your seat on Mother Nature and feel the softness and the warmth of your divine mother.
When you do this, when you be mindful in random situations in your life, you do more good than a preach who just repeats words from a book not even he really understands.
Namaste.
